Frontline PCB Solutions announces the release of version 9.3 of its Genesis 2000 CAM system on July 16, 2008
Genesis 9.3 introduces a new range of functionality for quality assurance and a suite of new and enhanced editing tools designed to make job data verification more secure.
In addition, Genesis 9.3 includes enhancements to existing DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and analysis tools, helping users achieve better results, perform required actions faster and boost yields.
Genesis 9.3 highlights include:
ECC200 data matrix barcode added to any board layer.
New Step Compare QA tool that increases data integrity.
Layer Netlist Compare QA tool that compares netlists per layer or subassembly.
New editing tools:
Change arc radius – stretch connected lines
Feature spacing preview
Fine movement using arrow keys
Limit movement of features in 45° step angles
Input improvements for RS274X, DXF and IPC356A.
Editing improvements including Print Layer, Netlist Creation/Compare and SpaceTracks Evenly.
DFM improvements including drill, Microvia and silk screen checks, dynamic etch compensation etc.
Genesis 9.3 is a licensed version and is available for all customers with a valid service contract.
